Hello everyone!
I'd love to start out with my elevator speech, but the fact of the matter is I came to Ryze to meet others in my field who could use a strong team player, yet be sensitive to my needs. That's yet to happen, so I've come to you, since the focus is within my commuting region. Perhaps others here can provide some feedback or introduce me to some beneficial contacts.
I'm an AS/400 RPG Programmer/Analyst seeking application development opportunities that can be performed for the most part from my virtual office in the Poconos. My business model is based upon "on-call" services, as well offering on-site consultation and routine visits as necessary. I miss the corporate world, but right now I have voluntary obligations to my mother, who has Alzheimer's disease.
I'm not a quitter. During these slow times I've resorted to other work alternatives, doing reference verifications and legal document coding. However, I've invested 17 years to my career and want so much to stay active. This lull in assignments is going to drastically hurt my marketability.
Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I am in my fourth year as a real estate agent. Strange enough, I never thought I had the makings of a salesperson, but this has worked to my advantage.
